This fine art giclée print (140x140 mms) is part of the Shades of Bladderwrack series, capturing the mesmerizing beauty of Hebridean seaweed in shimmering blue-green hues. Inspired by real seaweed collected from the shore of my croft, the original artwork is created using monoprint techniques, with impressions made from the seaweed itself to form the textured background. Worked into with mixed media, each piece is further enhanced with hand-applied silver leaf, evoking the sparkle of seaweed glistening in the water on a Hebridean summer’s day. Printed at A5 size on archival-quality paper with non-fade inks, this print offers lasting beauty and is perfect for adding a touch of the Hebrides to your home or collection.
